This is an excellent use of color and ties together the two threads that have been woven through the series – the bass player’s personal life (in color) and the band (in black and white). Putting them together through the use of color inset panels reminds the reader that this man that we have been following through trials and tribulations is actually part of a larger whole. The words on the page are, of course, songs that the band is playing.
