The copy on the back cover of this issue lists the two long stories and the words “Plus Much More,” which implies that the short story is “much more.” To be honest, issues like this exemplify the worst of Heavy Metal’s excesses. A reader paid $6.95 for this magazine and got a selection of three stories, two of which are the third part of an ongoing series. It’s that kind of nonsense that made Heavy Metal change directions back in 1986.
