Kierkegaard presents a little one-off story about a Pillsbury Doughwoman trying to make her way in life and into the movies, despite the fact that she looks like a little white lump of dough. I’m missing some of the topical references (I was ten in 1983),but a lot of the trials are similar to the trials that a plus-sized woman might go through. Allegory?
