This is a pretty typical page from Jones – no background for most of the panels, except for a single tree that mysteriously appears and is never referenced again. What’s very interesting is that all of the shots of the woman are cropped so that her breasts are just out of panel, except for the last one where they’re too distant to be really prurient. It’s almost as if Jones is acknowledging that one of the main reasons this strip shows up consistently in this particular publication is because it prominently features a naked woman more often than not.
