These two pages are some of the most beautiful pages that Moebius created for this series – they just happened to show up in the same episode.

Having seen Jodorowsky’s Dune (which you should totally see, especially if you like Moebius), the Incal makes a lot more sense as the creative team recycling ideas from their aborted Dune project – which was really just Jodorowsky’s interpretation of what he thought Dune ought to be.

Still, the crystals in that first page are just amazing.
