Except for a single panel early on, this entire story is just a straightforward narrative about a beautiful woman who achieves fame and success in Hollywood. Of course, this attracts the attention of suitors, one of whom has proposed to her. Her response is to take off her wig and explain that she is actually male, dressing as a woman. This action and the subsequent response are from the last lines of Some Like it Hot – which is nodded at in the Marilyn homage in the first panel.
