One of the things that really bothers me about Heavy Metal is the way that they credit the stories in the contents page. For example, the first page of this story has a big title block with the name of the artist and author in it. However, the contents page only lists the artist.

Anyway, Voss’s art is, as always, pretty darned awesome. It’s easy to tell that he didn’t write it because there is not a single woman or woman’s breast in the story. I like the idea that this traveler from the future and/or another dimension got all fancified so that he would appeal to the locals, only to find that the locals are robots that have degenerated into savagery.
