The rest of the story is Giminez when he was still a Moebius clone and looks nothing like this page. It’s a whole “anti-war/hippy pacifists will still attack in the right circumstances/drug tripping” spectacular. At one point, the pacifist who dodged the draft turns into a plane when the naked lady he just met is attacked by a giant hawk as they were making love in the clouds. Yeah, it’s weird. And it’s got a twist ending.

The plane details on this page is really where his work thrives – depicting believable technology. It’s possible that he drew this page to make sure he knew what the planes that show up later in the book looked like.
