At this point, this looks like a fairly standard alien-hides-in-ship-and-attacks-human story. It plays out for another few pages and the human dies. At the end, we discover the twist: the human was the specimen that got out and had to be killed because he reacted so poorly to the person who was trying to get him back in his cell.
