The naked man with the leg wound is Hombre, a recurring character that’s sort of like Corto Maltese in a post-apocalyptic setting. Here, he’s been captured by a group of cannibals living in a zoo. Their other captive is a man that they’ve force-fed until he was very overweight and then killed and dropped into the big pot of boiling water. The little old man in the wheelchair was their ringleader and didn’t engender a lot of empathy from his captives.

Interesting continuity note: the red-haired woman initially shows up wearing a dress. In every subsequent page, she’s wearing pants.
