When I saw that the artist is primarily a tattoo artist, my immediate reaction was “of course he is.” It’s amazing work, but you can absolutely see where he’s coming from. Also, I was inspired by this page to download some Kirby Krackle brushes so I could incorporate the effect into one of the tattoos I’m designing.
