This is a little post-apocalyptic story about a colonel who is the last of his unit alive. He leaves a dead soldier, searches for food and blows stuff up real good. This was a nice little self-contained action page. We are in no doubt about what’s going on here and in what order the panels are meant to be read.
The story ends on an optimistic note: he goes back to his hideaway, where he gives his pregnant wife a flower. It does not say why he didn’t carve up his dead soldier for protein, though.
