This story got really heavy really quickly. It starts with a kid asking an adult for a dollar. He buys the kid a soda and takes him home, where the kid’s father starts to beat the crap out of the kid for running away. The stranger bangs on the door to stop the father, which is where this page comes in – the father flat out attacks the stranger. Check out the battered child in the penultimate panel. This is a very fucked up little story.
