Compared to the excessive rape scenes earlier in the story, this page is a lot more deliberately sexy. Druuna has been given lingerie and decides to be sexually aggressive. Of course, in the next few pages, this man slaps her around and rapes her before throwing her in prison, which really undermines the atmosphere that this page creates. Taken on its own, though, this page really works. You can see why Serpieri was so popular with Heavy Metal readers.
