In 2017, Heavy Metal published a Music Special that was full of stories that were adaptations of various songs. Clearly that worked so well that they had to do it again, this time with more bands (ie more opportunities for cross-promotion) and more pages. Officially this is the first time that Heavy Metal has published a 200 page issue, the highest page count in the run. But of course there’s still room for the Corben serial.
