I got a few pages into this story before I started to notice little details that made me think this was drawn by Schuiten. And then I checked the table of contents and got confirmation. What I really love about this page is that the domes are completely unlike most of the Obscure Cities work that this pair has done; in fact, I’m not entirely certain that this is one of the canonical Obscure Cities pieces – the providence is obscure.
