Back in the day, post-apocalyptic stories appeared in almost every issue. I have a pet theory that this was a reaction to the over-arching concern for mutually assured nuclear destruction that everyone had concerns about during the Cold War. As the Cold War halted abruptly, the quantity of post-apocalyptic stories dropped dramatically. But here we are with another one and it’s not very long or very good. But that opening splash page looks quite nice, doesn’t it?
