This is a weird time travel story that had an elliptical ending that didn’t quite make sense. Given the percentage of stories in Heavy Metal that don’t make sense, this was pretty much par for the course.

I chose this page because I really liked the floating city above a city in the first panel. The floating balls are meant to be some kind of futuristic travel device (because of course they are – given a choice, what society wouldn’t build travel devices shaped like red rubber balls?).
