I’m really interested in the last paragraphs on this page, especially his evaluation of why Heavy Metal survived for so long. Yes, Heavy Metal has changed many times, but for some reason it keeps coming back to the same, safe, standardized configuration that it had when Kevin Eastman bought it in the mid-90s.

I’m also disappointed that nobody thought to ask him why his opinion of Heavy Metal changed since his disparaging comments that got Kevin Eastman so riled up.
