Yikes. This whole story is predicated on the fact that this man built an entire army of female androids to look pretty and do whatever he wanted. Which gets us to this page, where these women are explicitly identified as rewards for the returning soldiers. There’s a twist at the ending, but also a lot of really interestingly problematic default assumptions built into the narrative.
