The previous page started with exactly the same panel. The two panel beat at the top of this page tells the character and the reader that the previous page was just a dream sequence. It’s a great two page beat. The bottom of the page – where the same character completely changes the story of what happened to make himself not look so bad is also interesting. Note how his face is in the shadow as he’s lying.
