This story is about a love ‘em and leave ‘em man who runs away from a woman in Salt Lake City. As he leaves her, she gives him a little stuffed bear to hang over his rearview mirror. This leads to the first panel on this page, where the authorities are amazed to discover his body in his car – just like he was mauled by a bear, but where did the bear come from? Woooo.

As is usual with Theureau and Galliano’s spooky little stories, the artwork is the star of the show. The car full of blood at the top is pretty great, but the street scene at the bottom of the page is worth the price of admission.
