This whole story is wrapped around the idea of the nebbish man showing off the amazing penthouse apartment of the dashing crime-fighter Vamp to reporters from a glossy magazine. They were slightly concerned that there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms, because why wouldn’t Vamp’s live-in man be sleeping with her?

And then we get to this page, where he seems very reluctant about her advances, to the point where she pushes him down and starts to straddle him. This raises some interesting questions – does that mean that they haven’t been sexual to this point? Is it less disturbing because a woman is making advances on a reluctant man? Is it possible that he’s just not interested in her sexually?

On an art note, I really like the moire pattern that the zipatone makes when it’s scanned.
