This is the first of the episodes that calls back to a previous episode. The woman from the first episode (whose coat turned her into a panther) had attacked people before, including this man with the white hair. In this flashback, we can see that attack, which uses the color red as a nice splash of color and is incidentally very sexually suggestive.

It should not surprise the reader to discover that the white haired man’s second encounter with the woman does not go well.

Interestingly, this is also the first page that shows the name of the bar.
