After a harrowing experience in the prison, only these two are able to escape on a plane that didn’t really even bother to stop.
Rubio’s ability to draw technology really shines through on this page. It’s probably one of his best features.
The angle that the last panel is drawn at is also very interesting. There is no horizon line and the reader has to intuit that the background is at an oblique angle to the plane in the foreground. Panels like this that make the reader work just a little bit to understand are what keeps me reading comics.
