There’s a great panel to panel to panel transition in the second tier, where the couple is having sex next to a lighthouse light. As the light rotates around in the middle panel, they become nothing but silhouettes. It’s a delightful visual trick that works really well on it’s own terms. Little things like this are one of the reasons why it’s still valuable for me to keep reading this magazine.
