For some weird reason, it never occured to me that Star Trek: The Next Generation would have a) printed anniversary trading cards or b) advertised said cards in Heavy Metal. It just seems like such a mainstream product and not at all something that readers of Heavy Metal would be into. Having said that, there have been plenty of science fictional material advertised in these pages in the past, so it shouldn’t be too much of a shock.
