This really surprised me. I was not expecting as wholesome a strip as Frank in the pages of Heavy Metal. The tone of Woodring’s art just really doesn’t jibe very well at all with the substance of the rest of the issue. I can only imagine how he felt when he saw that he was printed alongside Serpieri. Can you imagine some little kid seeking out old Woodring material and coming across this issue? Yikes!
