This little story about dirty older French gentlemen taking delight in speculating about underthings that appear on the washing line above their habitual cafe table is mostly cute. That is, until it takes a strong anti-crossdressing twist near the end when they discover that one of their compatriots is actually wearing the frilly underthings when they conspire to spy on the wearer. Now, spying on someone undressing specifically transgresses against that person’s privacy and serves them right for being such perverts and the story would have been fine if it stopped there. But nooooo, it had to have a scene where they talk about how they’ve been ruined because they got erections from seeing what they thought was a woman wearing lingerie.

Anyway. I liked this page the best because it encapsulates the relatively tame but very horny conversations these dirty old men are having about something as simple as a pair of panties. And it uses show more than tell, which makes for good comics!
