This is the cover to a ten-page special advertising section for Kitchen Sink Press. It’s fascinating to track the publishers that have advertised in Heavy Metal over the years. At this point, we’ve moved beyond the dedicated Euro-reprint publishers like Catalan Communications into home-grown American groups like Kitchen Sink. To be sure, there were some Euro-reprints in this catalog – Denis Kitchen cast a wide net – but the emphasis was more diverse.
