Here, Druuna is persuaded to take part in a sexual ritual that will provide an antidote to the mutations that are going around. This is why she’s getting changed into something less comfortable.

What’s very interesting is the four-page sexual sequence that comes immediately after this page are not printed in this issue. There’s another two-page sex sequence that is also missing near the end. Both of them contain scenes of serious sexual violence – including the death of two men at the moment of ejaculation. The omission removes the little bit of coherence that the story possesses and makes the reader wonder if he missed something.
