Amidst the ultraviolence of the setting, there are little nods to pop culture. Look at the name of the club in the upper right hand corner of the page. La Dolce Anita. It seems to be set directly above the Trevi fountain, which is where a scene from Fellini’s La Dolce Vita was set. Very clever.
