On the left page, we have the evergreen trope of a sex-worker being killed for comedic effect. Although, to be honest, I don’t know why she didn’t put more clothes on, nor why she’s sitting on the balcony in that state. No excuse for killing her, though.
On the right page, we have a pair of women kickboxing. In the next page, the text makes it clear that they are lesbians, but here we just see that one wears a sports bra and the other is a little more “meh” with regard to her comfort. Maybe she’s a badass, maybe the artist just wanted to throw in some visual titillation to keep the reader’s interest. Who can say?
