I can’t help but think that the reason Dave Sim shows up in this anniversary issue has a lot to do with Kevin Eastman pulling strings among his network of alt comics creators.

At any rate, the story is about this woman who has grown so addicted to virtual sex that she prostitutes herself (on the previous pages) so that she can afford to stay logged on. I liked this sequence of her going through the menu choices, which feels very true to life.

Also worth noting is the white bar on the side of the page, showing that the people laying out the page maybe didn’t think about how it would look when it was printed. The art is clearly not the width of the page. This could have been fixed with a piece of black paper under the art in pre-production.
