John Kricfaluci seems like a natural fit for these kinds of interviews. I like the part where he talks about how web-based animation can’t have sound because different computers run at different speeds, so they can’t be relied on to sync with the visuals in any kind of reliable way. Which is one of those weird 1998 early-days-of-the-internet artifacts that’s kind of laughable now.
