This is the best Galactic Geographic entry to date. In addition to the giant two page spread at the beginning, there are a number of one-page articles full of weird little world-building details like this.

I chose this page because I really like the use of focusing in on a selection on the map. This kind of detail really makes me think of Science Fiction – which is the ostensible focus of the special edition. Well done.
