This story has a parallel structure. Half the story is told from the point of view of a killer dressed as Santa Claus (left side of the page) and the other half is told from the point of view of a police officer (right side of the page). This page is the first time that the two protagonists see each other – specifically the first two panels, which depict the same event from both points of view. It’s a nice little piece of storytelling, the likes of which that you can really only do in comics.
