This story makes a lot of sense, but it makes me really angry. The store owner advertises the exploitation of his best customer and rewards her with significant discounts, knowing that he’s going to make money from the voyeuristic men in the neighborhood. What makes me angry is that it clearly never occurred to him to ask the woman if she was comfortable being exploited like that. It is entirely possible that she might have been into it – after all, she does buy quite a bit of lingerie. The only bright point here is the implication that there will come a point at which she’s going to figure out his game and charge him with sexual harassment.
