This is the second story in the Leo Roa series. Amusingly, the first episode showed up in 1989, which means there was a decade-long gap in the publication history. This is more than a little problematic, because the sequel relies more than a little bit on some of the details from that previous story. One of those details is Leo Roa’s cousin, who was established as a would-be rock star. That detail becomes the opening scene (shown here) of the second story. There’s enough detail to get what’s going on, but it’s still weird. Even weirder is that Leo Roa isn’t actually the main character of the story – his cousin is. Having said that, the crowd scene here is amazing. Gimenez does a great job of establishing the enthusiasm of the crowd, right down to the green-haired groupie.
