This is very interesting, both visually and plot-wise. The man sitting on the mat is the owner of a sports drink. He’s in his private residence, meeting the main character for the first time, so he feels like he has to wear the suit he wears in public. The panel where he unwraps the suit is very well rendered and is one of the more interesting visuals in a story full of pretty generic shoot ‘em up cyberpunk activities.
I also find it interesting that the dystopian setting cranks up the strictures of marketing to such aggressive levels that this man feels the need to hide his weight so thoroughly. It shouldn’t really be a surprise, but I like the fact that the story actually acknowledges it.
