This was one of the better stories of the last few issues. It starts as a fairly generic fantasy story, with some sex and violence. Then it transitions into a story about doctors chasing a cancerous cell in an eyeball, which recontextualizes the entire narrative. Here, we see how that recontextualization is applied to the main character’s sexual partner – she’s a nanobot. It’s really well done.
