The story starts with an old warrior who is wounded in battle and convinces his wife to have sex with him until he dies in the midst of ejaculation. The last panel in that prologue story is the picture that the title character is showing off in the first panel on his page. It’s a nice piece of storytelling technique, which is unfortunate because it goes off the rails in the subsequent panels.

You see, he was telling that story to his naked concubine, for reasons that are never really specified. In the next pages, we discover that a) they’re in the far future and b) because his father died conceiving him, he can be healed through sexual activity. Which is a fun super-power.

Artwise, this seems like a cross between Simon Bisley (the current golden boy at Heavy Metal) and Richard Corben. The woman, in particular, looks like she stepped out of Corben’s Den.
