I would like to draw your attention to the last panel, where I will ask you to look for the tail of a word balloon that stretches off page. That word balloon shows up on the next page, with the tail stretching off page. It’s not entirely clear to me if that’s actually meant to be a two page spread that got printed incorrectly (it wouldn’t be the first time for Heavy Metal) or the artist was just that clever. I choose to believe the latter.
