When I first started telling people that I was reading the entire run of Heavy Metal, a lot of them responded that they first became aware of Heavy Metal because it ran the entirety of Sky Doll. In many ways, this was the seminal issue of the run in the early-to-mid 2000s.

As you can see from this page, there were only three features in this issue, all of them from the Sky Doll series. If you were a reader that wanted all three volumes in a series, this was the issue for you.
