I know Matthew Medney is saying the right words, but his statements also ignore the stories that ended with trans panic jokes in the early issues. And as late as 2020, one story ended with a gay panic joke.

Having said that, it’s a remarkably good issue overall. It’s almost as if some of the guest editors have a better understanding of the format than the people who normally run the show.
